Oblivion Orchestra – “Yours/Mine”-This is a heartfelt track with some interesting elements to it. There’s an experimental energy in the background to go with an acoustic quality that drives the folk spirit of the track. The lonesomeness in the voice really connects with …
The Most Expansive (almost) Sounds on the Internet
Good Terms – “Useless Things” If there is one track that sums up much of pandemic life, it is this one. With a beautiful ache, the lyrics play out with a disregard of possessions. On the surface, it is a sad break up …
Three energetic new rock tracks to get your blood pumping this week
The Thing With Feathers – “We’ll be fine”-There’s an optimism to this track that I genuinely appreciate. This is a sentiment that I definitely felt a lot at the beginning of 2021 as things began to improve around here. I appreciate the poppy …

Spangler – “Crash”-This is such an incredible track. It’s not every day that you get to hear a muted trumpet in pop music, but here we are. The composition and instrumentation on this track are much more jazz-meets-pop than most of what dominates …
Three acoustic tunes that’ll put a smile on your face this spring
Shadwick Wilde – “When all of this is over”-There’s a mesmerizing acoustic style to this track. The guitar sets a mood, but Wilde has a timeless vocal style that is, in a word, striking. If you haven’t heard this one, definitely sit down …
Three indie rock tracks to fire up your weekend
Medium Love – “Hurricane coming”-If you like raucous rock music, you should definitely check out Medium Love. It’s a sound that is much grungier than most of what we feature here. I really appreciate the layered vocals on the chorus that feel so …
