There is a certain unmistakable feeling that hits me when I listen to Abel Raise The Cain. It is something that surpasses the limits of sight, sound, and slightly above average music reviews. It is a feeling of “me too” in the midst …

Album Review: Little Red Lung – Beware – Avant garde art rock
Guest review by Kori Rae Little Red Lung’s debut full-length album “Beware” took me a few listens to process, and I mean that in the best way. It’s a piece certainly worthy of its “art rock” label; the album’s dichotomous nature of taking …
Marco With Love – Tidal Wave – Blues Soaked Rock
NYC based rockers Marco With Love are best summed up with their Facebook description: “foot stompin’, ass shaking, hook laden, indie rock’n roll”. In a world of mass promotion, this brevity is much appreciated. The boys of Marco play pure, unadulterated, rock that …
Young Guns – The best rock album of 2015?
To quote the great folk punk rock troubadour Frank Turner, “there is no such thing as rock stars, there’s just people who play music, and some of them are just like us, and some of them are dicks”. The beauty in this is …

Album Review: Millions – Max Relax – Experimental, intelligent rock music
From the title of this new LP, it’s clear the band knows who they are. Millions are the kind of band that wants to chill their listeners, inspire us a little, and help us get to a better headspace in life. It’s about …
Ted Z and the Wranglers–Cowboy Rock and Roll
On your average day, I do not think of Southern California as a hotbed for quality country music. Here I am being wrong again. Maybe it’s not a hotbed and maybe this isn’t the most country of country music. Ted Z and the …
Album Review: Matthew Mayfield – Wild Eyes – An emotional alt rock album
You can call it alternative. You can call it new and exciting and a divergence from his normal sound. You can even call it likable… just don’t call it pop. This is not Matthew Mayfield going pop. This album, Wild Eyes, is Matthew …
