Expansive and Great Indie Rock Tracks

Good Bandits – “Hair of the Dog”

This is a challenging track. The blend of styles and energy is combustible and we love every fuzzed out turn the duo make. “Hair of the Dog” is a nod to Iggy Pop and reminds us of a grittier Talking Heads or Dandy Warhols mix. The sax towards the climax is a great surprise and completes the New York City cool the band carry with them in every note. Their creative and confident sound soars through earbuds and speakers alike.

Bonzai Elephant – “Hakushu”

We love a good instrumental track. In “Hakushu” there is a bounty of styles to adore. The act weave through an expansive math rock style, while maintaining a jazzy vibe. While some in this space can almost run out of sonic steam halfway through, Bonzai Elephant remain sharp and earnest throughout the improvised track. We love the creativity and expression and cannot imagine anyone not liking this one.

modernlove. – “Nightlife”

The new nostalgic track has a great mood and build. The Irish act have recently played sold out shows across North America with sharp indie rock vibes. Their sound has energy to spare and also shows just how tight the band chemistry is. They surely have a 1975 vibe but are purely original and we cannot wait to hear the meteoric rise they are destined for.
