Pretty Baby – “8:25pm Greenwich Fucking Mean”

The music of Pretty Baby is an emotional rollercoaster. We love the raw passion of the act which we believe perfectly soundtracks the smoldering chaotic times we live in. The wall of sound swells to a perfect climax best listened to alone in your car. We suggest yelling along with it. While there are surely points of reference for listeners in the Post Rock and Post Punk space, we love the creative energy that is singular. There is a melodic element for sure but also a raw rage reminiscent of MewithoutYou. While we understand this field of rock is an acquired taste, if there is any act able to expand the tent of Post Punk and Rock, we think it is Pretty Baby.
