Distant Cousins – “My Eight Favorite Nights”
Out of the many years we have done these holiday run down pieces, this was the first Hanukkah track we have heard. We are overjoyed to be able to share this one for that reason, but perhaps more importantly, because it is a solid December release. The heartfelt take captures the nostalgia and fun of the genre with a folk rock flair. It is no surprise that the song found it’s way to the Hallmark movie cache. Fun fact, Linkin Park’s Brad Delson wrote this track.
