Lone Lake – “Older”

The second single from this duo has us feeling all the feels. The act mainly worked over voice memos sent back and forth to each other, before recording in Austin, TX. The beauty found here, reminiscent of The National, speaks of seasoned musicians who are exceptionally talented. Vocally “Older” is delicate but piercing while instrumentally it rises to an arresting climax. Complete with a string section, the sonic textures on this one is haunting and will have you excited to hear more.
