Mou – “Medicate”

Australian act Mou is one of our most treasured acts of ’21. The thoughtful act is the brainchild of one songwriter, which is impressive given the layers of sonic goodness. It is described as “electronic post indie folk”, and surprisingly, this describes everything we love about the act. “Medicate” has a slow burn allure of a downtempo jam, while still having a Glass Animals style funk to it. We love the vocal delivery on this one and the expressiveness of the sound. If you have not became hip to Mou, we cannot recommend your immediate devotion enough. His debut EP is out now, and is everything we love about the medium of music.
