Justin Hulsey Roars Back on “Suddenly Sunshine”

We have a long history with enigmatic songwriter Justin Hulsey. His music has been with us since the infant days of Ear to the Ground, and like our site, his music has matured. On his latest album, due out later this month, the artist continues to hone his exceptional rock style. This is not to mean he has abandoned his singer songwriter chops however. He is undoubtedly as sharp as ever.

Take his latest release for example.”Suddenly Sunshine” reminded us of a David Ramirez style track. Like Ramirez, Hulsey brings the melancholy and pensive relational exploration. The bass on this one and overall production is top notch and is key to appreciating what Hulsey does so well on this album. It is a quintessential lovelorn track which could easily connect with many. This is his second release from what is an intriguing and earnest album. Check it out below and be on the look out for our album review coming shortly.
