Superhead – “Supersoaker”
We dig the urgent rock style of this trio. Raucous and crunchy, the band plays with a near combustible rock earnestness that fits nicely in the garage / punk style. For those who did not grow up with American summers, “Supersoaker” is a reference to a line of squirt guns. Part of the charm of Superhead is their ability to lean into nostalgia, while still presenting something fresh and interesting. The young rock act is definitely worth your time, as they play a well blended and energetic style that is highly commendable.
