Sammy Honeysett – “I C UR Lips”
Few tracks surprise us anymore. After years of doing this work, and hundreds of singles a week, we are rightfully skeptical. However, every now and again, our ears perk up with hope. Songwriter Sammy Honeysett was one such fresh discovery. Mixing a classic rock ethos, with an almost uptempo shoe gaze sound, the artist smashed our reserved expectations. The Aussie songwriter has a style that will undoubtedly connect to a large audience, while still being cool enough for you hipsters out there. Currently she is working on an EP, which should be a fun mix of styles and passion. Honeysett is one to watch.
