Judith van Drie – “You Were Mine”

Surprising does not begin to describe our feeling for this one. Dutch songwriter Judith van Drie crafts a beautiful sound on “You Were Mine”, while offering an absolutely arresting vocal style. There are few songwriters who can stop us where we are, and stand at enraptured attention like Judith van Drie can. This is a perfect case of “why have I not heard of this artist before?” What gives us even more hope is not necessarily how great “You Were Mine” is, but how good we know she will be as she continues to grow into her exceptional talent.
