London Thor – “Place Like This”

A chilled groove, “Place Like This” is an exquisite piece of indie pop. While the sound is our favorite part, vocally it is outstanding as well. The artist croons her wanderlust for anywhere else. We were immediately reminded of the intimate songwriting of Jessica Lea Mayfield when we heard the style of London Thor. Her ability to craft a compelling story with both vulnerability and even sarcasm, is sharp and worth your time.
