It’s December! Here is Your Top Holiday Playlist

Våra – “Christmas Slow Dance”

This is how we like our Holiday music. Stripped back, relying on great storytelling and talent. This artist has a great singer songwriter style, regardless of season or yuletide cheer. The acoustic guitar gives a sway to the track, while vocally it feels like the holiday. Nostalgic and hopeful, “Christmas Slow Dance” will win over even the most Scroogeiest of listeners.

Jordan Pratt – “Home This Christmas”

Vocally, we could hear this artist sing the ingredients to fruitcake and still thoroughly love it. The textured sound gives it a great feel, full of thoughtful melancholy. The LA songwriter has a firm grasp on his alt pop sound. Listeners can tell his talent for his craft, regardless of genre or style. He has been a favorite of our site for awhile, and now we have a nice, modern holiday classic to prove it.

Vân Scott – “Thank God It’s Christmas (Queen Cover)

We accept very few cover songs. On top of this, we cover very few Holiday tracks that get sent to us. So, it may be worth your time to give this one a spin. Sure, everyone loves Queen, but this artist absolutely nails it. While giving his own spin to the classic, Scott shows his rare talent and confidence with this great talent. Get the nog, put on your Christmas (or Queen) apparel, and enjoy this one.

Dylan Rockoff – “Around You (O Christmas Tree)”

On top of having a great last name for a musician, Dylan Rockoff has talent to spare. On his holiday track, he dips into a variety of genres, working them together with elf like precision. John Mayer, Jason Mraz, these are just a few of the established artists that we were reminded of when listening to “Around You (O Christmas Tree)”. This is a groovy and hip modern Holiday track that is bound to connect with many listeners.
