Some of the best musical performances happen on the bustling streets. Such is the case with The Rayes. Led by sisters Jordan Stobbe (bass/vocals, 24) and Rebecca Stobbe (rhythm guitar/vocals), they honed their craft busking in Seattle before eventually recording. The result is compelling and a hopeful example of Americana. We love the blend of voices and both old and new styles. The guitar work especially had us bopping and swaying throughout the track. There is tons to like about the full band; filled out with the exceptional talent of friends Patrick Hagan (drums), and Ian LeSage (lead guitar/vocals). We cannot recommend this act enough and think their art exemplifies what Ear to the Ground is all about.
