Wild Manes – “Northern Wind”

There is a lot to like about this six-piece from Brooklyn. The vocal harmonies alone are soul melting and deserve a few listens. The laid back vibe of “Northern Wind” carries with it a beautiful optimism that helps counteract the mess of a world we live currently. Sound wise, there are more than a few styles blended here. Pop sensibility mixes with folk honesty, while nodding to the girl power groups of the ’60’s. We think the new single is a nice introduction to an intriguing and tightly talented band.
