Avaya wowed me with this latest tune “Last Words.” There’s a lot to really dig into with this single and there are some delicious nuances that made it a stand out. For one, her vocals are pure and she has a unique vibrato that made me instantly want to hear more. The song itself is a great work of storytelling. It begins as most pop songs usually do, soft and true, but swiftly moves into some beautiful tones, especially with the synth/symphonic additions and whimsical background vocals. When the music builds after the first chorus, it really takes off and moves you into a wonderful journey into love and dreamy worlds. This is an excellent, textured piece of music.
