California rockers Manuel The Band have an impressive mix of style and genre that engages listeners across a wide spectrum of taste and preference. On “Wide Awake”, the act starts in seemingly familiar indie rock territory, but by the end, jazz, folk, and big band sounds make it a cannot miss track brimming with the creative explosion of life and sound. The vocals carry the track into a dreamy atmosphere, while the instrumentation is incredibly engaging and lively. Thankfully, the act is generating some well deserved buzz around the handful of tracks they have recently released.
