There is much to like from indie pop rockers West Coast Weekend. Their sound builds perfectly in “Heart Attack” – complete with a killer electro infused guitar solo – while perfecting a layered sound that impresses throughout. Lyrically, this is where the tune shines. The chorus is perfectly poppy and is what made us perk up and demand we cover it. Not much is out there from the act – only the single – but it is enough to leave listeners wanting more (so much more).
This song was just made public, and we cannot stress the importance of you listening to it and getting on the bandwagon early. If “Heart Attack” is just the beginning, we are excited to hear more tracks from the band.
