There are few things we love more than drummers who sing and music videos that show the band performing. When we came across Canadian rockers CIVILIANA, we felt like we may have hit the jackpot. For “Carry A Light”, not only do they have a vocalist behind the kit, but the video is stylish and energetic, with a perfect mix of guitar echo and electronic layers. “Carry a Light is about the mental burden that is left after a separation, shares the band. “The eagerness to move on is stunted by memories and romantic withdrawals left behind from past lovers”.
