SYML – “Clean Eyes” (Acoustic)
Artist SYML is having a moment. Recently selling out shows across the world and in the midst of a US tour, the artist is putting his final touches on what is sure to be an impressive 2019 debut LP. For “Clean Eyes”, he strips back to a more intimate sound with his rising and emotive vocals.
“I would call myself a cynic. “Clean Eyes” is the first song that was written with more of a “band” approach, and is about my wife who sees the world beautifully through “clean eyes,”” explains the musician.
The original style of the track is more a upbeat electro pop style, but this acoustic version carries with it a more modest production. The result is two forms of the same track that both work surprisingly well while creating their own distinct sonic atmosphere.
