4 Outstanding Tuesday Tracks

Carmen Brandy – “Good Enough”

There is so much to like about the music of 19 year old Carmen Brandy. Her spirited vocals remind us of a more indie Taylor Swift, while her genuine songwriting reveals a passionate and sincere artist who is finding her niche in the folk pop genre. Lyrically, she builds songs with maturity and earnestness – both that surpass her short time on this earth. There is just enough catch to it to make listeners sing out at various points, but underneath this is something truly special and authentic.

Hospital – “In the Evening”

We have covered Russian act Hospital a ton through the years. This is for good reason. Their ability to craft tight and charismatic indie rock jams, transcends borders and genres. With their latest release, the boys bring shades of electro pop to the forefront in what is a perfect night driving track for your beat up car’s speakers. The video is sprayed with night illuminated visions that complement the track incredibly. If by chance you have not checked out this act yet, you need to.

SnugHouse – “Glass”

The swelling sound here and outstanding harmonies, make this track a complete standout. Moved along with a beautiful piano, it simply gets better as it unfolds into a classic folk ballad. The songwriting and poetic verses are something to be heard for any fan of thoughtful and vulnerable Americana. With the release of their 2nd EP, we believe the band will win over audiences from all over genres and preferences. “Glass” is a sure fire standout track.

James Supercave – “Come Alone”

We were super excited to cover this artist again. The mix of soulful vocals and almost psych electro pop are something unique and incredibly refreshing. We always appreciate an artist that you can tell immediately who they are. With their creativity, James Supercave are able to help listeners to cling to styles they already love while exploring new artistic endeavors. This style is incredibly welcome and fantastic. The only negative is how it seems to end too soon and almost abruptly.
