3 Intriguing Tracks For Your Thursday

Ayelle – Issues

Swedish-Iranian artist Ayelle, is definitely on the rise. Her latest single has a strong R&B sound that is often likened to acts like Banks and is both fun and existential. She has been on our radar for awhile now and we cannot explain the giddy feeling when we saw this track in our inbox. She explains her latest track this way: “Abusive personalities can make you feel as if you can’t live without them, their love or their approval. Ultimately, they wish to control you, and will use whatever means available to them to do so.
Even after you think you’ve gotten away from them, the abuse continues, and ‘issues’ is about the aftermath that follows.” We are excited to see what unfolds for the young artist this year.

The Fontaines – “Evaporate”

Immediately it hits you, the disco beat and seductive siren vocals of this LA new wave rock act. The sibling duo added a full band for this solid and sweeping genre-crushing track. They have been generating buzz around their newest EP, “ii”, and won over KROQ in Los Angeles. Their newest debut LP is set for a ’17 release and we cannot wait to hear more from the creatively fun and relevant act.

Soul Catalyst X Peitzke – “Cosmic Current”

While we are speaking of tunes that make you want to get down, this is a piece of electro pop gold. It has an incredible sense of space and sound, offering a dreamy mix of seductive and inclusive vibes. It is simple in its approach, but genuine and engaging in the way it unfolds. Definitely a cool throwback track.
