Birthed out of the demise of indie darlings Love, Robot, Alexa and Dane launched the lofty act known as Heirsound. Their debut EP Merge, is a piece of heartfelt alt-pop that is sure to give you everything you could ever want in your earbuds. Today we are excited to share the extraordinary video for “Slow Motion” staring Alexa’s sister who explores the world around her with vulnerability and wonder. The song plays out, seemingly floating through the seasons and times we live. It is a perfect escape from the political climate we find ourselves in currently. Both members beautifully trade vocal duties to create a dynamic sound. It rises gently to the climax that is sure to endear the act to a larger audience.
Somewhere in a similar musical plane, Alex Di Leo operates in his own gorgeous avenue of sound. The FLA artist is known by many for his work in now disbanded rock act Wyld Fly. The travels he did with this act as well as following the break up granted him deep inspiration for his new EP So We Go. Drawing on influences like Coldplay and Vance Joy, the artist has a rising ambitious sound that is sure to connect with audiences. “I’m constantly thinking of how short our lives are and how important it is to experience new things, take risks, and to not be afraid of what could go wrong, but what could go right. Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about the destination” explains the artist. We truly dig his music and the positive drive to create it. Check out his video for “Waking Up” and prepare to fall in love with your new favorite artist.
