Goodnight, Texas – A Bank Robber’s Nursery Rhyme
I’m always excited when something that I’ve been anticipating comes out and even more excited when it exceeds expectations. This new song, “A Bank Robber’s Nursery Rhyme”, from Goodnight, Texas, is off of their new album, Uncle John Farquhar, due out in August. While …
Michael Stovall – Georgia – Soft Country Songs that Give You Chills
The other night I was home alone for several hours. I typically don’t mind being alone. I listen to music and dance like a fool around the apartment, or I do silly things like re-arrange the paintings on the wall. This particular night, …
The Coffis Brothers & The Mountain Men – Wrong Side of the Road

Passenger – 27
Passenger has a new album out this week and I had no plans to cover it. But it quickly jumped to the top of my priority list when I heard this song. Though there are a lot of albums of review and songs …
DA and the Jones – Sirens – Endearing, genre-defying independent music
They are a male and female duo, but if I say that you’ll start thinking about the Civil Wars and the like, but they are a completely different sound. Think timeless sounds with a fresh, crispness that makes them exciting and relevant. The …
Joe Young–honest, nostalgic, and beautiful.
In highschool I always dreamed of some guy singing me to sleep, gently picking away at his guitar. I dated a musician for a while and he was cool, but never sang to me, mostly just to himself and sometimes to other people. …
