The Mooks – “Looking Back”

We love this indie rock group. They effortlessly blend genres while still maintaining a unique identity that leaves us intrigued. Complete with guitar solos and throwback production, “Looking Back” is aptly named. The retro rockers combine so much of what we love, not only about timeless rock music, but all music. It is surprising to hear they are Canadian, with a sound so rooted in American and UK rock. This is part of their endless charm. They play a tight but criminally short two minute jam that we had to play numerous times to get our fix. We have a feeling that this would be a incredible live act and hope the road finds them soon.
