A pair of neoclassical pieces

Sleepy Songs – “Finland”
-If you’ve been around our neoclassical posts for any length of time, you’ve seen this artist featured in the past. Sleepy Songs brings a wonderful vibrancy to composition and expression. The overall sound is one of contemplation and introspection. I could liesten to this kind of thing all day.

Gian Marco Castro – “Through your eyes”
-Castro writes with a thoughtful precision. The piano lines here feel like spoken words, expressive and well connected. This is the kind of music that draws us into neoclassical as a genre. It’s contemplative and pure, creating a gentle empathy to see how another sees.
