There’s so much hope and light in every line of this song, it’s truly wonderful. Swensen sings every line with sincerity and truth telling. The acoustic guitar work is a beautiful base to the song and Swensen’s understated vocal is characteristically engaging on this song. The layered vocals on the chorus are absolutely outstanding. You’ll listen to 1000 folk songs before you hear something this beautiful again, trust me. Julia must cry every time she hears this; it’s breathtaking.
