Three unique new rock tracks that will bring hope for the future of music

Daniel Etherton – “Mona Lisa”
-The vibes on this track are on another level. It comes out strong with a concept of being infatuated with a woman. The transition to a powerful pop rock anthem gives the listener the urge to absolutely CRANK the volume on this one. If you’ve ever been totally taken by a person, filled with desire to be with them, this lyrical concept will resonate for sure. The groovy R&B vibes blended with pop rock make for a sound that reminds me of some early 2000s pop radio hits. With a sing-a-long chorus and relatable lyrical concept, it’s a track ready to hit the big time.

Rum Jungle – “Back home”
-The hypnotic electric guitars on this track are sure to capture a lot of fans immediately. Then, the groove on the verse… wow! It’s got this cool energy to it that is quintessential rock n’ roll music. If you’re a fan of a sort of chilled out pop rock with emotional lyricism, this is definitely a track for you. The vocal feels a bit like a mix of Jim Morrison and the Gallaghers from Oasis. The use of dynamics to manage the emotions of the track are expertly done and deeply satisfying for the audience. This is masterful rock music.

Pastis – “Champagne for the heartache”
-With one of the coolest song titles I’ve seen this year, Pastis come in with a brilliant and timeless rock song “Champagne for the heartache.” The production on this track is excellent, allowing the listener to follow every lyric. There are shades of mid-60s pop rock that took the world by storm via the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and related bands. Pastis have great harmonies, a hook-heavy writing style, and outstanding guitar work. There are just enough twists and turns in the song to make unpredictable for the listener. I can safely say the chord progressions on this one would make it very challenging to play, but it’s great for listening!
