Happy Free Music Friday everyone! This week’s edition brings us 2 different sounding folk acts. As always, there’s no cost for these albums, but we highly recommend tipping artists for the work they’re doing.
The Novel Ideas
When I reviewed Home, back in July of last year, I said “The Novel Ideas and their album, Home, are about all you could ask for from an indie band giving away their music for free.” It’s an awesome folk pop sound that includes “The Blue Between Us” which was one of my top 20 songs last year. Oh, and it’s free.
David Ramirez
David Ramirez is an artist that is working his tail off. I know this because his name pops up everywhere from Bandcamp, to my email, to our recent artist interview with Noah Gunderson. Turns out that’s all for a very good reason as he’s releasing some awesome folk music AND he’s giving it away for free. You can check him out here.
