John Wheeler is a native of Austin, Texas, where he was ingrained with a deep love and respect for live music. His parents laid the foundations for an appreciation of traditional folk tunes from the likes of Joan Baez and Pete Seeger, which has led to his tastes in modern minimalist folk and indie-folk rock, though he makes sure to not limit himself to those sub-genres. John currently resides in Logan, Utah, and is studying Environmental Policy at Utah State University.
