Artist Interview: Josh Wintrup
Josh Wintrup has a blues-influenced finger picking style that many people will find quite intriguing. He was kind enough to digitally “sit down” with us across the pond and answered a few questions about his music. We highly encourage you to check out …
MRee – Walking on a Dream (Empire of the Sun Cover)
This video represents two exceptional qualities that vary from videos that we tend to post. One, it’s a cover. We usually feature original work. Second, it has quite a few hits on YouTube. We like to feature the “hidden gems” of the music …

This is an impossible task we’ve set before ourselves. Choosing songs that are “better” than others is futile. As I look at my already-limited list and try to make it smaller for this published list, I’m moved to emotion. Some songs make me …
Harvest Star Folk Collective – Vol. 1
The best thing about a collection like this is that it offers an introduction to new artists. Since that’s what we’re into around here, this is a great opportunity to find a hidden gem. Obviously I can’t write on every track on the …

JT Royster is a wonderfully talented acoustic musician. When I stumbled across his Christmas music through a mutual friend on YouTube, I knew it was a must feature. But I didn’t just want to throw it up here and let it stick. I …
