Featured Single: Unique jazzy folk “I’d Rather Not Know” by Sinnober

Sinnober – “I’d Rather Not Know”
-There are layers to what I love about this song. In a silly, surface way, I really like that the song *feels* like a holiday song. A bit deeper, though, I love the way the harmonies feel so delicate like the old school music of the 1940s (i.e. the Andrews Sisters). The subtle jazzy flavor of the song appeals to the pop jazz sound that used to be prevalent in American popular music. The lyrics are about being broken hearted and not wanting to know about an ex’s new love. It’s relatable, sweet, and wonderfully well performed. This is an absolute gem.
