New Gaze – “All We Can See”
-Typically, I like to pair music with other tracks that are in a similar genre, but honestly we haven’t had a good power pop track to feature in a while. But this one from New Gaze is really wonderful. There’s a magical levity to the composition that reminds me a bit of mid-career Beatles work with a dash of something more recent, like mid-90s harmony pop. The vibes on the song are relaxed, with a love song lyric and an easy listening musicality. The full composition is something that’ll you’ll feel comfortable having on in the background or singing along to in the car. To use a technical music term, it’s a bop.
