Three dreamy pop tracks that you’ll want for your chill playlist

Clubhouse – “rose glasses”
-When I think of dreamy rock music, this is the type of sound I have in mind. The production fuzzes the vocal just enough to make it feel unique while still allowing the listener to connect with the meaning. The vibe of the song is upbeat while also feeling like you should sit back in your chair and take it in. The overall energy on the chorus is glowingly enjoyable; it’s a modern pop sound that conjures images from classic harmony rock bands. It’s got delicate inflection in the lead vocal that vibes perfectly with the production, all contributing to a sound that satisfyingly resolves when it comes back around to the chorus. This one could be a hit for indie rock and dream pop lovers for sure.

Lazy Loners – “Watered Down”
-Just when you think this song is going to turn too hard for a chill playlist, it vibes right back out with a chill groovy indie rock sound. The expressive electric guitars are fantastic on this track. It’s got a solid melodic structure and some really satisfying rock production. The lead vocal has just enough rasp and inflection that it conveys emotion but doesn’t feel overly theatrical. It’s a sound that would be just as welcome on a pop rock playlist as it would on maybe a college rock indie style list as well. I’m not sure I have a good comp for this, but fans of bands like Kings of Leon will enjoy the energy and vibes.

The 805- “Already Gone”
-The guitars on this track pulled me in from the first time I clicked play. I mean the vocal is good too, but the guitars were just so saucy I had to say “yes” to coverage. There’s a sentiment to the song that feels a bit romantic, yet there’s this forward momentum that propels the song with a sense of adventure. “I love this feeling but I’m not sure if I love this mess.” Amen to that. It’s a cool track that conveys some heartfelt sentiments that are going to be far too relatable for some listeners. This is the kind of pop-flavored rock that I dig and can listen to in virtually any mood. I hope you’ll give it a spin.
