-You don’t have to be from the Pacific Northwest to appreciate the up tempo rock style from this track. The guitars are good and the melody moves nicely. However, for me, it’s the vocal harmonies that really make this song go from good to great. It takes many of the elements of “alt rock” and makes them a bit more palatable to the ear, all with a lyrically accessible message. This is the kind of song that could crossover into different genres without selling out to the gritty, authentic rock that birthed it.
