Big Girl – “Hold on to that easy feeling”
-“When the sun rises in the morning before you remember you’re alone, you can hold on to that easy feeling or you can let it go.” Dang. This one really hits with a sweetness that’s hard to put into words. Big Girl has a gorgeous voice that reminds me a bit of early Dolly Parton. The simple yet wise lyrical style encourages a good kind of self reflection. The production style feels a bit like the mid-20th century countrypolitan style. The vocal is great and the guitars are solid; the overall vibe is excellent Americana music.
