Sophia Gripari – “Dancing Alone”
-When I first heard the opening of this song I had it more as “bedroom pop” than dance pop, but trust me just stay with it. There’s a beat that hits a short bit into the song that will have you moving. It’s the kind of song that allows for those chill electro elements to permeate yet get everyone dancing at the same time. If you’ve ever been “sick of loving” someone, but you just can’t stop thinking about what was… then this song will absolutely resonate with you. It’s a breakup song with a whole lot of energy that feels so good to exorcise through a good sweaty dance session. Fans of Lizzy McAlpine and related artists will love this one.
