Three indie rock tracks to energize this new week

Elephant Castle – “Rocket to the moon”
-In the rare occasion that we feature psych rock, you know it has to be a truly remarkable sound. It’s safe to say that Elephant Castle is one of the most captivating psych rock acts we’ve heard in years. Shades of 70s glowing rock vibes meet with some avant garde 21st century production for an unprecedented sound. The effects are pure ear candy with some evocative lyrics to make even the most mindful listeners ponder for a while. This is a fascinating piece of artful rock music.

Arlie – “Wait a minute”
-I like this song so much that when I approved it, I instantly went to my personal social media to share it with friends and family. The harmonies are absolutely infectious. They remind me a bit of what I fell in love with when I first started following Good Old War. In fact, I would love to see Arlie on tour with those guys. Arlie have this wonderful positive energy on this track that brings together vocal harmonies and an up tempo pop rock vibe that absolutely GLOWS. I dig this more than I can realistically put into words. Look for me to write about it again in about two months for the end of year lists.

Henry Chadwick – “Mind’s eye”
-If you’re looking for a pop rock vibe that connects well with a contemporary aesthetic, check out Henry Chadwick. There’s a vibey, tactile sense to the track that allows the listener to tangibly connect with the sound. The production balance is so brilliant that with a good pair of headphones you’ll feel like you’re sitting right in the middle of the band. The vocal harmonies work perfectly with the characteristic lead vocal and some Weezer-era pop punk-flavored rock music. It’s a whole jam and you need to give it a shot.
