Ariel Petrie’s songwriting has landed her in some pretty incredible places. Not only did she appear on the hit show X-Factor in the US, but she now has a successful Twitch stream where she shares her life with her fans.
This song “Your Light” has a tender core to it. The subtle lead vocal from Petrie gives the track a warm, almost poetic feeling. It’s a love song without having all the cheesy elements that color that subgenre these days. Instead, there’s a genuine desire to share life and love together. It’s about supporting someone you love. The creative electro pop elements make the track resonate with popular audiences while the lyrics make it quite easy to connect.
