Three toe-tapping indie pop songs

Morningbird – “Nice to need you”
-Not gonna lie, Morningbird might be my favorite new band of 2020. I’m pretty much saying yes to their music as I press play. The vocals are winning my heart while the Beatles-esque writing style makes me feel amazing. If there’s ever been a song written to be a lead single, it’s this song. It has all the feel good vibes of “I wanna hold your hand” but hits with more of an alt rock modern sensibility. I’m putting it on my song of the year list right now.

Alae – “Summer thing”
-If you’re looking for a poppy, engaging, hook-filled track that will have you ready for the heat of summer time, give Alae’s latest track a spin. There’s an infectious energy that will have you wishing the pandemic was long over and you were back in the club with your FRENZZZZ. Honestly the lyrics are about having a lasting relationship that’s more than just a summer fling, but the energy is certainly meant for a dancefloor. FeelzSOgood.

Josh Fudge – “7 in the morning”
-Share this song with your girl, your boy, your best friend, and your worst enemy. It’s a fantastically saucy mix with a solid vocal and an absolute SLOW JAM GROOVE. Giggity, right? The energy of this track is absolutely magical, I’m not gonna lie. I love when synths do what they do here… it fills the space with this glowing energy. I am not always into this synth pop style, but when I am, it’s this. Josh Fudge you are a rising star and I am HERE FOR IT.
