-I guess you could call this a love song in a way. It’s not the saccrine love song style that most associate with the genre. Instead, it’s a real boot-scootin’ tune about being fully devoted to someone who might not reciprocate. Thomas captures a timeless country music tradition of telling the impassioned truth with a steel guitar in the background. I ain’t mad about it, neither.
