honeywhip – “feels good to laugh”
-this song is about as cool as a cucumber. also, the shift key is broken. i really adore the vocal harmonies on this piece. usually with dreampop the emphasis is so much on the electronics in the background that vocals don’t have much to say, but this song feels like all that you’ve loved in pop music through the 50s, 60s, and 70s all rolled into one. i’ve never heard a song that made me think the beatles, abba, and fleetwood mac would all enjoy equally. yet here we are. i dig it.
