There’s not much I can say about this track or this artist that you won’t hear with your own ears by pressing play. The spirit in his vocal takes over the track. If you miss artists like Otis Redding and Percy Sledge from “the good old days,” you’ll find a lot to like about Jake Isaac’s soothing vocal style. It’s sweet and romantic, sure, but you’ll hear some gospel shades there as well. This is neo-soul at its absolute best.
