Striking. This song is strikingly beautiful. I’ve long been a fan of the “girl and her guitar” style. Here with Mabes we discover a questioning, puzzled lyrical style that reveals a heart of seeking. It’s about self discovery with an enchanting acoustic guitar part. I love that in a world with layers of electro pop blips and bops, Mabes decided to keep this recording pure. I really appreciate the sincerity in this recording.
