If you’re looking for a soundtrack for your Sunday afternoon, you will enjoy these three friends of ours who we’ve featured in the past. If you dig one (or all?) of these, feel free to share the post on social media to help the artists find more fans.
Cattle and Cane – “Time to get it over with”
-If you’re a fan of relaxing acoustic music, you will really enjoy this track. It’s deeply melodic, allowing the strings and the clear lead vocal to convey a moving message. There are layers of sounds that keep you smiling and coming back for more. All the voices are quality, making for a stellar listening experience.
Simon Baum – “London”
-Simon Baum is an acoustic singer songwriter we’ve been supporting for a bit now. His music has that inkling of believability that provokes a trust. It’s kind of hard to explain it, but the quality is rich and rewarding if you give it a few listens. Fans of a singer songwriter like Vance Joy will enjoy this style.
Alice Kristiansen – “Lost in Translation”
-This track might be a bit more in the electro pop category than the others, but Kristiansen’s sound is unbelievably rewarding. “I’m lost in translation like a foreign movie in black and white.” It’s such a powerful lyrical hook that holds together the song. This is an extremely talented artist with a growing collection of fantastic songs. If you’re not following her music, you really should be.
