Video Premiere: Miner sing “Carry Me Home” for Woody Guthrie

If you’re a fan of the long history of folk tradition that gives us the music we love today, you know about Woody Guthrie. He is, in some ways, a kind of great grandfather for the people writing folk music today. The disease that took Woody’s life was Huntington’s Disease. The band Miner released this video as a way to provide awareness and support for people who continue to suffer from this disease.

Please, more than ever, share this video and consider donating to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America.

Miner will be playing at the Vatican for the Pope on May 18th at the HDdennomore Event (pronounced Hidden No More) the world’s largest gathering of the Huntington’s Disease community. At the event the Catholic Church will recognize Huntington’s Disease for the first time in history in hopes of ending the stigma and shame that often surrounds those suffering from HD. You can find more info about the event here: http://hddennomore.com.
