“29” – Run River North – – Alt Folk Rockers Drop New Video

If you have been reading Ear to the Ground for any length of time, chances are you have heard us rave about California folk rockers Run River North. Their upbeat and thoughtful sound has won the hearts of many in the ETTG offices. For the band’s sophomore album, Drinking From A Salt Pond, the act showcased a more mature sound without losing their trademark free spirit. Working with Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Matt and Kim) has helped dive deeper into their musical ambitions and craft one of our favorite albums of the year. Their new video for single “29” shows a beautiful portrayal of the band’s dynamic stage presence. Trading from vibrant rockers to mannequin performers, they cut lose as the song progresses, complete with colorful abstractions that compliment vocalist’s Alex Hwang’s contemplative lyrics.

The video just dropped this week, and we think you’ll like it. While you’re at it, feel free to read our review we did on their latest release.
