We just covered Steamboats last week. They’re extraordinarily talented. You can hear from their EP, which they did without the help of a Grammy-winning producer. This is going to be one of those debut LPs that people will love. I am already excited for it. The barbershop-style harmonies are supported by timeless Americana and even 20th-century rock constructs to make a familiar and engaging style. As I said in my review, I hear Eagles in some of their songs – so of course I’m hooked.
