Tyler Lyle is, for my money, one of the best singer-songwriters out there. His music is poignant and beautiful and “Nashville” is a great example. Personal and universal, lines like “the world spins on without our permission./ We can hold our breath and keep on wishing or we can take it for a ride” show his ability for songcrafting. He’s a genius and you will be too when you listen.
