It’s really difficult to make bluegrass sound new without making it sound… well… like “not” bluegrass anymore. Chris Thile of Nickel Creek pushed just about all the limits there were with bluegrass, or so I thought. Then I got this suggestion from David Benedict to check out his work and was totally impressed by his clean picking and expressive style. I can’t wait to hear the full CD. The production team will have Grammy nominees on it. Expect this to be HUGE friends.
Check out his KICKSTARTER, which just recently met its goal: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/821913528/david-benedict-the-debut-solo-album?ref=activity
Put this on your radar serious fans of bluegrass!
